What is the Aruka Management Plan?
The Aruka Athlete Management Plan is an all-encompassing plan that is designed to cover all the bases regarding the health and performance potential of the athlete. It is a plan similar to the one developed for professional/elite athletes from around the world. The Aruka Athlete Management Plan is built on the 7 vital pillars of our health: Integrative Medicine, Inner Person, Relationships, Skill Acquisition, Nutrition, Exercise, and Restoration. The plan is developed after the athlete completes both medical and lifestyle questionnaires. We start the athlete’s journey with an Injury Risk Analysis, or Movement IQ Screen – all based on the developmental level of the athlete. We then work to correct any movement dysfunction that exists with our Motion Therapy program. Once the athlete is readied, the transition begins toward the Aruka Wired Performance Program. This is accompanied by a 2-month navigation process led by an Aruka Performance Coach. Options exist to extend this online individualized supervision beyond the 2 months.
The programming we develop for the athlete is customized toward their individual need. It is designed to not conflict with group or team training that they are subject to with their team or school. Our programs in such a case complement and do not contradict sport coach programming.
At Aruka, our mission is to help navigate the athletic careers of our clients toward optimal health and performance!
